I have been working since I was around 8 years old if you count me being in professional stage shows until I was about 16 (yes I was that cute once!!). Then the time came to 'get a proper job'. I went into corporate and mainly enjoyed the 10 mile cycle each way and the training I did at lunch time.
I joined the military which gave me so much, I learned a trade, I gained the confidence and ability to be an instructor and presenter, I travelled the world both in work and adventure training and met so many amazing people along the way. I have sailed across the Indian ocean (never got over sea-sickness), I've climbed/trekked the Himalaya's, Peru, Kenya and Europe, Scuba-Dived in Australia and Egypt (I'm more your Finding Nemo type?) and skied / cycled across Europe. Definately more me.
I have three amazing children who have carried on with my love of travel and adventure and now travel all over the world in their jobs. Although I now realise what I put my poor Mum and Dad through, given that there was very little communication in them days.
I have always loved to write whether it was my own poem in a card, a presentation, a service sheet, a report or a writing competition. A throw away comment by my Brother was the creation of my book series 'Seagulls Don't Eat Sorbet'
