Bev Woodger is a retired maths teacher and for two thrids of his life was teaching mathematics as Head of Department. At the same time he was involved in non curricular activities & outdoor trips with teenage students. Now after completing further degrees in his retirement he has become a writer on Local and Social History. He was a volunteer guide at Dunster Castle with the National Trust until age called a halt. He is now wrtiting on education.
His latest book looks at some of the problems teachers face in the classroom and makes a plea for greater self discipline becoming more important for all students.
