Susan Holliday is a psychotherapist with a passion for the natural world. She has a degree in History from Cambridge University and later studied photography at Camberwell College of Arts. Following a number of years working in international development she undertook a professional psychotherapy training and graduated in 2007 with an MA from the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London.
Over the past two decades her work has centered on private practice with men and women from all walks of life. A passionate educator, she is also a Training Therapist with the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust and a Therapy Supervisor. Her work is increasingly influenced by the perspective of ecopsychology which seeks to restore the fundamental relationship between human wellbeing and the health of the natural world.
Hidden Wonders of the Human Heart is Susan Holliday's first book. Avoiding psychological jargon altogether, she hopes to play a part in opening up ways of speaking about human suffering that are less mired in pathology, so that we might begin to see the enfolded wisdom within our deepest thoughts and feelings.
