Mind, Body & Spirit
Here's what readers have to say about this book....
As someone who has just completed Reiki 1 I found this book to be useful for me. The subject was easy enough for me to understand and the way different areas were explained it helped me to understand some things that I was struggling with. This is a book I think I will continue to refer to as I grow my Reiki knowledge and skills. Orignal review: https://www.netgalley.co.uk/book/224713/review/634842
For those who are interested in learning more about Reiki, this book is a great tool to take one beyond the basics. The author's words and sentiments are powerful and thought-provoking. I was drawn in by the author's beautiful way of expressing thoughts and ideas. At the beginning of each section is a quote from a sage or writer. These quotes served not only as reminders that humanity has always wondered about the secrets of the Universe, but also we are reminded of the beauty of the written word. The book is a balm to the soul and its pages gently lift the spirit. Original review: https://www.netgalley.co.uk/book/224713/review/660237
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for a chance to read an ARC of this book. Since getting my levels I and II Reiki certifications last year I've been devouring every book I can on the subject. The forward for this book is accurate-this is not a manual for how to be a Reiki practitioner. But I never expected that this would impact me the way that it did. The most difficult thing about explaining Reiki to others is that there's nothing tangible to show them. This book put everything into words that I could not appropriately explain myself. I immediately bought myself a copy for myself and I'm reading it a second time and making notations for myself and underlining passages re-read again and again. I cannot wait to start utilizing some of the way Brighitta conceptualized Reiki with my own clients. Original review: https://www.netgalley.co.uk/book/224713/review/395291
I am new to Reiki so was very happy to have the chance to read a book that looks at the philosophy behind the practice as well as giving guidance on how to become fluent in its ways. I found the writing style very clear and easy-to-follow, and the author has such a warm and welcoming voice, I felt relaxed just by reading along. This is a very accessible guide to those curious about Reiki but I could see even a seasoned practitioner getting value from it. Original review: https://www.netgalley.co.uk/book/224713/review/811066
Brighitta Moser-Clark, a celebrated Reiki Teacher with a wealth of experience, provides a much-welcomed sense of homecoming along with potent medicine for this pivotal time on Earth. Written for both the spiritually curious who are new to Reiki as well as seasoned Reiki practitioners, this beautiful book will meet you exactly where you are, inspiring new levels of understanding to open within you. You'll feel connected, clear, and empowered as the journey unfolds. Rooted in eastern philosophy with a mystical influence, Brighitta shares accessible teachings and transmissions that will unlock your innate healing magic and amplify your inner light. I have a special interest in reiki and reflexology so was very interested in this book and it's healing powers in not just physical illness but physiological too.
