When Doctors Get It Wrong

I have just finished reading this very informative book and I could not recommend it enough! It is very well written, clear-cut and succinct. It is easy for anyone to read and understand, even if you are not in the medical field. It gives a well-rounded and straight forward insight into medical practice and how accidents occur. Dr. Rae also gives several interesting examples of real-life cases regarding alleged medical negligence that he has been involved with whilst working as chief medical officer for an insurance company. Each case gives a unique insight on how to approach different situations that have had poor medical outcomes. The book also has little hints of humour dotted around which I particularly love! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone curious about or interested in medical negligence!
